When you say it like that, it… makes… perfect… sense… right? So what is included in the Xbox Watch Dogs Legion Hack sale? A bunch of other Ubisoft games, with their cover art temporarily updated to make it look like DeadSec hacked them, of course. Weird, right? I mean, nobody wants to play as Aiden Pierce in the original Watch Dogs – or in Watch Dogs Legion, other than to get him killed – but Watch Dogs 2 is an excellent romp through a beautiful rendition of present-day San Francisco. (I’m going to have to shorten that, it’s really annoying me to type out each time.) The most surprising thing is that there are Watch Dogs games in the Xbox Watch Dogs Legion Hack sale. While Ubisoft likes to claim its games aren’t political, it’s definitely an interesting take on a near-future vision of Britain – one that doesn’t seem that far away during these pandemic end-times with a Brexit disaster looming.
